Steps to Register Interest for Ipswich Preschool 2027

Choosing your child’s first preschool is a big step. You want somewhere they’ll feel happy, secure and encouraged to explore—and people who will take the time to get to know them.

We’re planning to open Ipswich Preschool in April 2027, subject to Ofsted registration, welcoming children aged 2 until they start school. Families can now register their interest through our website.

A familiar local name, a new beginning

Ipswich Preschool is growing from Ipswich School of Dancing, our family-run dance school. Our experience of bringing children and families together through music and movement has inspired this next chapter.

We’re planning a nurturing setting where caring relationships and play-based learning sit alongside opportunities to dance, create, explore and discover. Our approach will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting a broad early years experience with music and movement woven into everyday play.

How to register your interest

Simply visit our

page and complete the short form. Tell us a little about your child, when you might be looking for a place and any questions you have.

At this stage, you do not need to send birth certificates, medical records or other supporting documents. The form is an initial expression of interest, rather than a formal application.

Registering your interest does not reserve or guarantee a place. It helps us understand what local families are looking for as we develop our plans.

What happens next?

We’ll respond to your enquiry and answer what we can at this stage. If you would also like to receive ongoing opening news and admissions updates, please select the optional email subscription box on the form.

We’ll share further details about sessions, fees, funded places and opportunities to visit as arrangements are confirmed. We intend to offer funded early education places, subject to the relevant approvals and eligibility requirements.

We’d love to hear from you

Whether you’re already looking ahead to 2027 or simply curious about our plans, you’re welcome to get in touch.

We’re looking forward to creating a place where children feel they belong, families feel supported and learning begins with play.
